Vitacura is one of the most residential and nice areas of Santiago with lots of houses and it is very safe as well. Although you are in a almost 100% residential area full of trees, with nice avenues, good for taking walks (for example in Bicentenario Park), at the same time you are also close to everywhere. Just for you to know, it will only take you 5 minutes and aprox three dollars to take a taxi in order to take you to either Providencia or Las Condes districts. Same thing happens if you want to visit Parque Arauco Shopping Mall or Mund Spa and heated pool. Even if you don’t want to take taxis, tou are aprox 20 minutes walking time from the places I formerly mentioned.
