Antumalal hotel is one of the best boutique hotels in Chile. It is also, in our opinion, the first one in this new hotel category. This was back in 2001 in a small dirt road from Temuco to the interior, towards Los Andes precordillera area, known in Chile as the lake district. Rented pick up truck was a Toyota Hilux (old nodel) with high clearance, vital for bad condition roads.

Ojos del caburga is a beautiful emerald color pond located between Pucon and Huerquehue National park. It is a private property, therefore there is a small entrance fee. It is 100% worth visiting although half an hour is more than enough in order to take a look
